The Korean Kids Basic 1 course is a carefully designed beginner programme for children with no prior Korean background. Across 20 engaging sessions (90 minutes each), young learners are introduced to the Korean language through interactive activities, games, storytelling, and guided practice.
At this foundation level, students will learn all Hangul characters, building strong reading and writing skills from the very start. Lessons also include simple greetings, classroom expressions, and everyday vocabulary, allowing children to begin using Korean naturally and confidently.
By the end of the course, students will be able to recognise and write Hangul characters, understand basic instructions, and introduce themselves using simple Korean phrases.
Upon completion, students will be ready to move on seamlessly to Korean Kids Basic 2, continuing their language journey with confidence.

Hi everyone! I’m Ms Park, and I’ve been teaching Korean for over 12 years. I absolutely love helping students discover the language and the amazing culture of Korea. Learning Korean with me is not just about memorising words — it’s about playing games, practising conversations, and having fun while learning something new every day!
I’ve taught learners of all ages and levels, from young kids & teens starting with their very first words, to adults preparing for TOPIK exams or learning Korean for work. No matter your level, I make sure every lesson is practical, exciting, and full of activities that help you use Korean in real life.
In my classes, we do lots of fun activities like role-plays, conversations, and interactive games. We also explore Korean culture, so students don’t just learn the language — they get to enjoy Korean traditions, songs, and everyday expressions. My goal is for every student to feel confident speaking Korean and to fall in love with the language along the way!

The Korean Kids Basic 2 course is the next exciting step for children who have completed Basic 1 or have basic knowledge of Hangul. This 20-session (90 minutes each) programme focuses on helping learners use Korean in everyday situations through structured, fun, and practical lessons.
Students will expand their vocabulary and sentence structures while learning to talk about themselves, their belongings, daily activities, food, hobbies, travel, and simple experiences. Lessons are themed around real-life topics and include short conversations, role-plays, listening activities, and simple reading exercises, making learning both meaningful and engaging.
Children will also be introduced to Korean culture and social expressions, helping them understand not just the language, but how it is used in real life. By the end of the course, students will be able to form simple sentences, ask and answer basic questions, and participate confidently in short conversations.

LifeSG credits are digital, government-issued credits in Singapore designed to help citizens offset education-related expenses. These credits are automatically credited into the LifeSG mobile app wallet and can be used at participating merchants that accept PayNow UEN QR payments.
In 2025, the Singapore Government introduced LifeSG Credits (CLC) of $500 for each Singapore Citizen child aged 0 to 12, disbursed in July. In addition, Large Family LifeSG Credits (LFLC) of $1,000 per year were introduced for eligible third and subsequent children aged 1 to 6, starting from September 2025. Both credits are fully digital and accessible via the LifeSG app.
